Like the K-Market the S-Market chain sells all kinds of stuff for food and drink as well as household items and other products. Mikkelis S-Market is located in the Sokos building in the city centre near the marketplace. It is opened from mondays til fridays 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is also occasionally opened on sundays for example in december during advent and in the summer holidays in august normally with more limited opening hours.
The small version of the S-Market is called S-ExtraMarket while the bigger version is called Prisma.
